( 06 ) Grammaire
📖 Grammar
A. Have / Has pour les problèmes de santé
On utilise « have » (I / you / we / they) et « has » (he / she / it) pour dire que l’on a un problème précis : a headache, a fever, a cold, a sore throat.
I have a headache.
J’ai mal à la tête.
She has a fever.
Elle a de la fièvre.
He has a sore throat.
Il a mal à la gorge.
They have a cold.
Ils ont un rhume.
B. Feel / Feels
Différence essentielle : HAVE + un nom (un problème que l’on a : I have a headache = j’ai mal à la tête). FEEL + un adjectif (l’état que l’on ressent : I feel tired = je me sens fatigué). On ne dit pas « I feel a headache » ni « I have tired ».
I feel tired.
Je me sens fatigué(e).
She feels weak.
Elle se sent faible.
He feels sick.
Il se sent malade.
I feel better today.
Je me sens mieux aujourd’hui.
C. Should / Shouldn’t
« should » sert à donner un conseil. Il est suivi directement du verbe à la base verbale, sans « to » : You should rest (et non « You should to rest » ni « You should resting »). La forme négative est « shouldn’t » + verbe : You shouldn’t work too much.
You should rest.
Vous devriez vous reposer.
You should drink water.
Vous devriez boire de l’eau.
You should see a doctor.
Vous devriez consulter un médecin.
You shouldn't work too much.
Vous ne devriez pas trop travailler.
You shouldn't stay up late.
Vous ne devriez pas vous coucher tard.

Utilisez au minimum 8 mots du vocabulaire, 2 phrases avec have / has, 2 phrases avec feel / feels, 2 phrases avec should et 1 phrase avec shouldn’t.
In general, I feel quite well, but sometimes I feel tired at the end of the week. I usually sleep seven hours a night, and I try to go to bed before eleven o'clock. I eat fruit and vegetables every day, and I drink a lot of water. I exercise three times a week: I walk in the morning and I play football at the weekend. When I have a headache or a sore throat, I rest and I drink hot drinks. If I don't feel better, I make an appointment and I see a doctor. I have too much stress at work, so I should work less in the evening and I shouldn't stay up late. I think people should sleep enough, eat well and exercise regularly to stay healthy.
