📖 A Shopping Experience

Last Saturday, I went shopping with my sister in a big shopping centre. We wanted to buy clothes and a new pair of shoes for her birthday.

First, we visited two clothes shops. In the first shop, the dresses were very nice but too expensive for our budget. In the second shop, the prices were cheaper and there was a special offer: a twenty percent discount on all shoes.

My sister tried on three pairs of shoes. The first pair was too small, the second pair was not comfortable enough, but the third pair was perfect. The shop assistant was very friendly and helpful. My sister paid by credit card and asked for a receipt.

Unfortunately, when we arrived home, we saw that one shoe was damaged. The next day, we went back to the shop and explained the problem. The shop assistant apologised and gave us a new pair immediately.

In my opinion, the customer service was excellent. We were satisfied with our shopping day, and we will certainly go back to this shop.

1. Where did they go shopping?

2. Why didn't they buy a dress in the first shop?

3. What was the special offer?

4. What problem did they have at home?

5. What is the writer's opinion about the customer service?

🎯 My Shopping Experience

I go shopping every Saturday, usually in a shopping centre near my house. I often buy food, clothes and sometimes electronic products. I always compare the prices because some shops are cheaper than others. For me, quality is more important than price: a good product is better value for money. I usually pay by credit card, but sometimes I pay in cash, and I always ask for a receipt. Last month, I bought a phone that was faulty. I went back to the shop, explained the problem and asked for an exchange. The shop assistant was very polite and gave me a new phone the same day. In my opinion, good customer service is very important, because products are sometimes too expensive and we don't have enough time to come back to the shop.
