Good morning. Today I would like to talk about a difficult situation and how I would solve it. Imagine that I am responsible for a team. Two employees are absent, the deadline is approaching, and the project is not finished. This is a serious problem, because we might miss the deadline and the client will not be happy. There are several possible solutions. First, we could ask other colleagues to help us with the project. Second, we could ask the client for more time. Another option would be to reduce the size of the project and deliver only the most important parts. Let's compare these options. Asking colleagues for help is the fastest solution, but they might not know the project well. Asking the client for more time is polite, but it might damage our reputation. Reducing the project is safe, but the client might be disappointed. In my opinion, the best option is to ask colleagues for help. I have decided to contact two colleagues this morning and explain the situation. If we act quickly, we will finish the project on time. If we don't act, we will miss the deadline and lose the client's trust. In the future, we should plan better and prepare for unexpected problems, for example by keeping one extra day before every deadline. That way, we can avoid the same problem next time. Thank you for listening.
