📖 Literature and the Power of Stories
Stories have always played an important role in human societies. Long before modern media existed, people used stories to communicate knowledge, preserve traditions and explore questions about human behavior.
Literature can provide readers with perspectives that are very different from their own. By following the experiences of fictional characters, readers may develop a deeper understanding of emotions, relationships and social problems.
One of the strengths of literature is its ability to remain relevant across generations. A novel written many decades ago can still raise questions about identity, inequality, love, ambition or freedom.
