( 05 ) Grammaire

📚 Be going to, will et Present Continuous

A. BE GOING TO — intentions et projets décidés

Structure : Subject + am / is / are + going to + verbe. On l’utilise pour une intention ou une décision déjà prise, ou pour une prédiction basée sur ce qu’on voit.

I am going to study English tonight.

Je vais étudier l’anglais ce soir.

She is going to start a new job.

Elle va commencer un nouvel emploi.

They are going to travel next month.

Ils vont voyager le mois prochain.

B. WILL — prédictions, décisions spontanées, promesses et offres

Structure : Subject + will + verbe (sans to). On l’utilise pour une prédiction (I think…), une décision prise au moment de parler, une promesse ou une offre d’aide.

I think I will pass the exam.

Je pense que je réussirai l’examen. (prédiction)

I will help you.

Je vais t’aider. (décision spontanée / promesse)

I think technology will change our lives.

Je pense que la technologie changera nos vies. (prédiction)

C. PRESENT CONTINUOUS POUR LE FUTUR — arrangements fixés

Structure : Subject + am / is / are + verbe-ing + moment futur. On l’utilise pour un rendez-vous ou un arrangement déjà organisé (agenda, billets, réunion).

I'm meeting my manager tomorrow.

Je rencontre mon manager demain.

We are traveling to Ghana next week.

Nous voyageons au Ghana la semaine prochaine.

I'm having a job interview on Monday.

J’ai un entretien d’embauche lundi.

Résumé : be going to = intention · will = prédiction, promesse ou décision spontanée · Present Continuous = arrangement déjà fixé.

( 06 ) Grammaire

📚 First conditional : If + Present Simple, will + verbe

La première condition exprime une situation future réaliste : la condition est au présent simple, le résultat avec will.

If I study hard, I will pass the exam.

Si j’étudie beaucoup, je réussirai l’examen.

If I save enough money, I will buy a car.

Si j’économise assez d’argent, j’achèterai une voiture.

If we finish the project early, we will celebrate.

Si nous terminons le projet en avance, nous fêterons ça.
