I use my computer every day.
Present Simple : habitudes et faits (j’utilise).
She checks her emails every morning.
Present Simple, 3e personne : elle consulte (verbe + s).
2. Present Continuous — l’action en cours
am / is / are + verbe-ing : une action en cours au moment où l’on parle (maintenant, right now, Look!).
I am using my laptop right now.
She is talking to her manager online.
3. Present Perfect — l’expérience ou l’action récente
have / has + participe passé.
I have used this application for two years.
Present Perfect : expérience (depuis deux ans).
She has already downloaded the file.
already : déjà (elle a déjà téléchargé).
I haven’t received the email yet.
4. Modaux : should / shouldn’t / must / have to / can
should = conseil · shouldn’t = conseil négatif · must = obligation forte · have to = obligation extérieure · can = possibilité / capacité.
You should use a strong password.
should = conseil (tu devrais).
You shouldn’t share your password.
You must protect your account.
must = obligation forte (il faut absolument).
You have to enter your password.
have to = obligation extérieure (tu dois).
We can communicate with people anywhere in the world.
can = possibilité / capacité (nous pouvons).

I would like to talk about how technology affects my life. I use several devices every day: my smartphone, my laptop and sometimes my tablet. My daily digital habits are simple: I check my emails in the morning, I use social media to communicate with my friends and I study online in the evening. Technology helps me a lot at school, because I can attend online courses and find information quickly. In my opinion, the main advantages are fast communication and easy access to information. However, there are disadvantages: some people spend too much time online. Last month, I had a technical problem — my computer was very slow and the screen froze. I restarted it and contacted technical support, and they fixed it. For online safety, I use strong passwords and I never share my personal information. My advice is to take regular breaks and use technology responsibly. In the future, I think technology will make our lives even more connected.
