If + prétérit (were), would + base verbale : hypothèse.

If companies offered more flexibility, employees would probably be more satisfied.

💬 A Debate About Remote Work

Sarah

What do you think about working from home?

Que pensez-vous du travail à domicile ?

David

Personally, I think remote work offers many advantages. It gives employees more flexibility and can reduce commuting time.

Sarah

I agree to some extent. However, don't you think people can become isolated?

David

That's a valid point. Some employees may feel isolated, especially if they rarely interact with their colleagues.

Sarah

Exactly. I also think communication can be more difficult online.

Exactement.

David

True, but technology has improved considerably. Video meetings and collaboration platforms can make communication easier.

Sarah

That's true. Nevertheless, I believe face-to-face communication is still important.

David

I understand your point. Perhaps a hybrid system would be a good compromise.

Sarah

I completely agree. Employees could work from home some days and come to the office on other days.

David

Overall, I think flexibility is the key.

Sarah

Yes. The best solution probably depends on the company and the type of work.

Oui.

📖 Should Students Use Artificial Intelligence for Learning?

Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly common in education. Many students use AI tools to find information, practise languages and understand difficult subjects.

Supporters argue that AI can provide personalized learning. For example, students can receive explanations adapted to their level and practise whenever they want.

However, there are also concerns. If students depend too heavily on AI, they may stop developing their own problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Another concern is accuracy. AI tools can sometimes provide incorrect or incomplete information. Therefore, students should learn how to evaluate the information they receive.

Overall, AI can be a useful educational tool. Nevertheless, it should support learning rather than replace students' own thinking and effort.

1. Why do many students use AI tools?

2. What is one advantage of AI mentioned in the text?

3. What could happen if students depend too much on AI?

4. Why should students evaluate AI information?

5. What is the writer's conclusion?
